Factors

The verification of the RPM Package Manager database was not performed due to insufficient privileges. The message indicates that the check for the “RPM Package Manager database” could not be executed because it requires ‘root’ user privileges (PRVG-11250).

Solution

To resolve the issue with the RPM Package Manager database verification, run the cluster verification command with root privileges. Use the following command:

./runcluvfy.sh stage -pre crsinst -n rac1,rac2 -verbose -method root

You will be prompted to enter the “ROOT” password. This will ensure that the verification process has the necessary permissions to access the RPM database and proceed without any issues
